Savannah- Violinist and Singing Chef!

Savannah is in 7th grade this year and the Nays are now into the busy life of an older child! We went to hear Savannah's string concert on Tuesday.   Boy, there was a big difference from last year's concert!  Savannah keeps practicing and keeps improving!  The Nays would love to have a small family orchestra- Ruth on piano, Savannah on violin, Evie has chosen and started cello,  Brenley still has a while to decide an instrument, and Olivia and Indie aren't even in the picture yet.

And then on Thursday we went to watch "Dear Edwina"- a play where Savannah was the chef.  She had one piece where she sang a solo!

But she did a great job and really hit the ending note- a very high note but Savannah was right on key! 

Ruth made it fun by putting together a makeup kit for Savannah's stage makeup!  Savannah was worried that maybe she had put on too much makeup but we assured her that she looked great during her performance.  This has been busy but fun for her- she will probably be exhausted this weekend!  (And so will Ruth!!!)
