Spinning Chair- 2 Visitors- 0

This was the first time that Elijah had seen the
spinning blue chair & Emma was sooooo nice
to help out!!!!

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

What a fun Thanksgiving. Don & Adrianne
& kids plus Carole made a full house. The kids
enjoyed the doll room & Elijah loved the
spinning chair (Emma was nice enough to
spin him).

Everyone helped with the dinner-
we did the turkey
& dad did the traditional carving. Carole
brought her wonderful mashed potatoes & also
corn; Adrianne brought rolls & stuffed celery
while Don made his famous pumpkin pies. YUM!

Elijah loved having his OWN knife
& had fun "cutting" the olives.

Don remembered the time that Mike
got the "drumbone" at Grandma's
house so we decided to spoil him
this year with his own "drumbone".

One of the favorites is always olives
on your fingers. The kids enjoyed
eating at their own red table with
special dishes & silverware.

Carole brought her Wii for people
to play after dinner. They were
hooked up to Ben & Anna in Utah.

Finally the meal had settled & there
was room for pumpkin pie & whip cream.
Don also did one new thing this year and
made sweet butter (great for pancakes)!

Emma & Miriam had fun helping
do the clean-up. Does anyone
remember making dish soap
beards??? Only one of the many
things to do when dishes are waiting.

Emma Loves To Dance!

Grandparent's Day with Emma & Miriam

To celebrate Grandparent's Day, I had lunch with
Emma & Miriam at their school. What a fun time!
We got to listen (and dance) to the western band
that played the whole time. And they were good!
In fact, Emma couldn't stop her feet from dancing
while she was eating her lunch! Miriam got to wear
her new cowgirl boots, hat & shirt from her birthday.
It was lots of fun to be with the girls. Thank you
Emma for the invitation!!!

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers

I LUV FLOWERS!!!!
This is just about the perfect time of year in Phoenix!
Along with having the doors open to enjoy the weather,
we also get to see & smell the beautiful roses. Each
time I see these in bloom I think of all the special
kids who gave them to me!

HAPPY DAYS!

Goodby gray skies!
Hello blue.

Dad & I went to Grady Gammage Auditorium
last night & saw Happy Days. We enjoyed the show-
even though the plot was pretty light. It was just a
"happy" type show. Afterwards, even though it was
late, we stopped at Village Inn for a "dinner". Dad
had his traditional eggs & bacon & was nice & gave
me the pancakes! We tried a couple new pancakes-
one was pumpkin with a carmel pecan sauce on top
& the other was orange cranberry with almonds!
Both were yummy. My official part of the meal was
their "carmel pecan silk supreme" pie- super rich &
good. It was a fun night for us- something a little different.
Today we are just rockin' around the house singing...

Sunday, Monday, Happy Days.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Happy Days.
Thursday, Friday, Happy Days.
Saturday, what a day, groovin' all week with you.

And now you also will have that song going through your
head all day!!!

Due To Popular Demand...

Due to popular demand to see the
"new" shoes, here they are.
Ta Da...

All right, all
right. Two
are the same
but in different
colors. I am
still trying to
decide on
which I want
to keep!
