Faith-Or-Flinch Can
Since I am Stake Seminary Supervisor, I get to visit classes and help with In-Service meetings. I am conducting this next one in August, and I am using the Faith-or-Flinch Can. It was fun- I had it out to show the Nay girls when they stopped by. Savannah was the first to stand still and see if she would have faith or if she would flinch when the can swung her way. Then Evie. Both girls stood still! Brenley couldn't stand to do it- too scary. And Olivia just followed Brenley's example and cried! Finally Brenley was happy since she got to take the pictures! I LOVE SEMINARY and seminary stuff!!!

Tucson Temple Dedication

It was special to be at our Stake Center and be at the Tucson Temple Dedication. All the Stake Centers were extensions of the Temple for this special occasion and you needed either a recommend or special admit to attend. Children over 8 who had been baptized could go. We sat with the Nays and even Evie got to be there (Tyler, Ruth, Savannah, Evie, dad & me). I let Evie borrow my special Temple hanky that my mother had given me before we were married. Since she couldn't go to the sealing, she gave me the hanky so a part of her was there with me. I have had that hanky with me at all Temple Dedications, each time I go to the Temple, and all special Temple events. I couldn't think of greater blessings than to be with my family for a Temple Dedication!!! A very spiritual time for me.

Parowan Crocketts Visit Nays
It was so nice of Mike to come to Phoenix with the oldest three kids (Adelyn, Michael, Joey) to be here when Tyler was
ordained a Bishop. It is a tribute to their friendship. (And it was nice of Alissa to stay home with the youngest kids.) They do have a lot in common- even down to the guns and hunting! I love to see how the families like being together and watching all the cousins play together.
Dad had fun and took all the families to Urban Jungle which was a trampoline and slide park. One of the fun perks was that everyone got flashy socks which were required for the trampoline. It was a FUN time!!! We also had a fun Grandma's Root Beer Slumber Party when Mark and family stopped by on their way home to Texas. There was one special purpose for the stop (besides seeing grandma and grandpa- Mark was just put in a Bishopric and dad ordained him a High Priest. I am proud of all our children and their spouses- they are good people and raising good children. It makes a mother happy.
