"Fang" Strikes!!!

Dad & Cory are hometeachers to Brian & Heather, & Dad
has gotten to be good friends with them. They even came
to Mark & Mandy's reception here at the house. Brian
invited Dad to an Arizona Rattler's game- arena football-
at the same place as the Sun's basketball games. Brian,
otherwise known as Fang- the team mascot- is at all the
games with his motorcycle & Heather, who is a dental
assistant, goes with. Since I was not feeling well the night
of the game, Carole went. Here is the group in a serious
pose by "Fang's" bike. As you can tell, it just shines- no
one gets dirt on the bike! (And just in case you were
wondering which one is Fang...
it is dad, Cory, Heather, Brian, Carole.)

Brian got passes for everyone so they could look around
the whole building- even behind the scenes where "normal"
people don't get to go. This last picture is in a more relaxed
mode- notice the "Fang" name on Brian's vest & the actual
rattler fangs just above.

How Does Your Garden Grow???

Here is the picture we took when we first planted our
two tomato plants, zucchini, crookneck squash, and
cucumbers. We added one more tomato plant about
2 weeks later.

And here is our garden today! WOW!!! Thank you
Miracle Grow!! We had stuffed peppers with cooked
zucchini for dinner. A couple of the tomatoes are turning
red & should be ripe soon. YUM!

Memorial Day Memories

What a fun Memorial Day with the traditional Crockett
activities. We started with swimming and once again,
Sydney was the first one in the pool. She is the reigning
champ! Kids enjoyed the diving board & the slide.

Dad had fun with his traditional game of throwing money
into the pool for the kids to dive for. This year he even had
the new golden-colored dollar coins! This is a picture of
Sydney trying to get to the bottom for the coins.

All this fun was followed up with a delicious BBQ cooked
by master chef Grandpa and assisted by chef Elijah. We
had hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, veggies with Carole's
wonderful dill dip, fruit with yogurt dip- all very yummy!

Watching a movie together was highlighted for the kids
with "All You Can Eat" ice cream cones- even Sydney had
a couple and you can really tell that Elijah loved it!!!
