Since we were so close to Provo (only another 3 hours) we took the opportunity to see the newest Crockett- Hannah. And of course, to see Caroline. Oh, that's right- Mark and Mandy live there too. And M&M's are always an ice breaker with kids. Thanks to Mike for remembering that adults like M&M's also!
Caroline showed her dancing moves.
Grandma got to hold that gorgeous Hannah. How fun to hold a newborn again.
We went to J Dawgs for lunch. YUM!
And I needed to include this beautiful picture of Mandy with Hannah smiling.

Trip to Parowan for Michael's Baptism
It's always fun to visit the Parowan Crocketts and this time we had a great excuse for a visit- Michael's baptism! How could he already be that old??? We stopped at the store and saw Mike's new horse- or is it the horse on the horse? Mike got a new ride for the store and had a horse mask for Halloween- doesn't that sound just like Mike?
We got to go trick-or-treating with the kids and dad got close to the twins. Here is dad with Mickey Mouse.
Mike took us fishing. Alissa is such a good sport and took all the kids with. Here is the one fish I caught- not bad.
But here is the winning fish that Mike caught. Of course, there is always something fun with Mike- he challenged Michael to "kiss" the fish.
There was time for lots of games.
And here is the reason for the visit- Michael's baptism. Mike and Michael stand by the measuring tree in the front yard.
Grandma did a boy thing and made worms and snakes with the boys. All right, they were made with play dough but still fun to make hiss.
Grandpa played Alligator. Mike joined in the game and the kids loved it.
Grandpa gave wheel barrow rides to bedrooms and Mike's challenge was going up the stairs but he did it!

Arizona State Fair 2013
It was fun to go with Carole and the Nays to the Arizona State Fair this year. This is the first time for the Nays! We started instead of finishing the night with the traditional Piggly Fries and fried zucchini. YUM!
We went to the Great American Duck Race and Evie and Savannah were thrilled to be chosen to hold a duck in one of the races. It was already a perfect night! Grandpa got to help them.
Carole bought the girls their favorite rock- Evie got one with gold in it!
Then on to the fun games. We played one of Carole's favorites (throw the ping pong ball into the jar of water) which soon became the girls' favorite also because they WON! Savannah and Evie became the proud owners and protectors of their OWN goldfish!!!
The girls looooved the motorcycle rides! Brenley tries to copy Evie with her hands up in the air!! Savannah looks like a daredevil racer!!
Next we played some games. In case you had not realized it, Carole and Ruth are truly game people- they like to play not for winning but just for the fun.
Tyler won a monkey for Brenley and had fun tickling her with it.
There is nothing quite like the foot vibrator after walking the fairgrounds! Some of us (me) think it is wonderful and some don't care for it much at all (Carole and Ruth).
The end to an Absolutely Perfect Night At The Fair!!!

Virginia In October
We traveled to Virginia to visit Ben, Rachel, and girls and to be at Camille's blessing. We took a trip to a pumpkin farm...
celebrated Lily's birthday...
had s'mores at the firepit...
traveled to a Civil War site for a hike...
(where grandpa found something named in his honor)
loved sweet Camille's blessing...
carved scary-faced pumpkins with the girls...
took a morning to ride with Officer Ben and then meet up for lunch together...
AND HAD A WONDERFUL TIME!
