Hickory, Dickory, Dock- Brenley is the Mouse!

Brenley had her first on-stage performance and was the mouse in Hickory, Dickory, Dock. She got to call and invite us herself to come to her kindergarten assembly. She looked so cute with mouse ears and nose and whiskers. She and Olivia had matching black dresses on. At the rehearsal Brenley froze and wouldn't say a word but at the official performance, she was confident and said it perfectly. When I was talking to her a couple days earlier, Brenley said she was a "Super Star!"

Brenley sat with her class after she said her lines.  All of a sudden her teacher asked for Mrs. Nay- that Brenley needed her to take the clock.  Brenley had gotten worried that the alarm would go off and that she would be in trouble for the loud alarm.  By the time everything was over and Brenley got to talk with Ruth, she was just sobbing uncontrollably.  Olivia sure loves her big sister and is trying to comfort her.

I thought it was so cute- as we left the school Dad and Olivia held hands (and Olivia has her soft fuzzy jacket on that she had just bought).
