Adelyn's Baptism & Brenley's Blessing

After traveling for hours, we met Mike & Alissa
& family in Cedar City where they treated us to
a yummy BBQ dinner. We also got to try deep-fried
cauliflower. BTW- it was delicious! The twins
especially liked the french fries!

Ruth & Tyler & girls and Mark & Mandy &
Caroline also came on Friday night. Adelyn's
baptism was at 10 am on Saturday & she
was baptized by dad Mike.

Here's a family pose after the baptism.
Adelyn got a beautiful white dress for
this special occasion.

Lots of Hamiltons and Crocketts gathered at the
house for a lunch after Adelyn's baptism- taco
salad and delicious Tres Leches Cake. Then it
was time for everyone to drive to Tyler & Ruth's house
to be there for Brenley's blessing on Sunday (she is
already a month old). The Taylor family also came
down for that. Anna loves to hold babies and she
does a great job with Brenley!

This is Beautiful Brenley in her blessing dress- the
heirlom dress that Ruth made for all Nay girls to wear.

And here is the Nay family at the blessing.

After the blessing all the Nays & the Crocketts gathered
for a lunch. There was more than enough food for the
50+ people- BBQ chicken & pork, turkey, potato salad,
nachos, spinach dip. AND the famous bread pudding by
Ellis!

We took the opportunity to give Mandy her birthday
present since it was a group gift and so many of the
group were there. Can you tell she was surprised?
Wicked! (That's the name of the play she will be
seeing.)

All the Crocketts stayed long enough to play a couple
rounds of "Pit". Even Caroline got into it!

While the game was going on upstairs, the kids were
having a great time downstairs. Can you tell that
this is Mary Poppins??? Oops- I mean Will????

Anna got a wheelchair for her doll at
Christmas & she absolutely loves it!
Tyler found a new use for this fun toy
(watch the clip). Years from now, Brenley
can talk to Tyler about this when she sees
it played at her wedding reception!

I understand getting Brenley to participate - she is too young to voice an opinion or resist... but Will was a pretty good sport to get dressed up and I am amazed you got a picture of that. Looks like a lot of fun!
