and also a few sights. Plus having lots of FUN with Amelia.
We stepped foot on the Appalachian Trail & saw the beautiful
changing colors of the trees. Dad loved this stone wall!

Of course, Rachel The Artist, color co-ordinated with
the fall colors!!!

Dad had new projects to accomplish, but it is so much more
fun when Amelia is by his side.

The Smiths & the Crocketts joined for Lily's blessing
on Sunday- Rachel & Ben were so nice to arrange this
while we were there. Rachel just doesn't want people
to think she is ready to get back into things though-
it's only been two weeks!
Dad helped Amelia carve her pumpkin- she got the
lid on right every time. And hey, what else can those
tongs be used for besides putting the candle in the
pumpkin????
No trip is complete without ice cream- doesn't
this just completely look like a sugar hang-out?
Pink, glittery, shiny, yummy Carousel.

And here is Amelia RIGHT after her ice cream! WOW- what
a bundle of energy!!! And her bow is the cutest- she
learned it from "Jo-Jo" (especially watch her hands).
This is a slide show of the beautiful trees we saw on
the Appalachian Trail & also some trees that are right
by Ben & Rachel's home. No fun to rake but gorgeous to
look at! (The last ones look like Christmas with tons of
red berries.)

I have finally gotten to the point that I can see beauty in the desert & in cactus but you are right- this was the prettiest place I have seen in many years! I absolutely love the colors of fall leaves.
Great pictures! You make it look like we did a ton of stuff while you were here. It was a fun trip for all of us!
