We had fun celebrating Evie & Savannah's birthdays. Evie kept
calling the doll pacifer a "yo-yo". Don't ask us why!
And then there were the Magic Birthday Candles!!!
We went berry picking & ended up feeding the huge "goat" &
buying yummy fresh fruits.
It was fun to have Mandy come & visit with her.
Dad got honey sticks for everyone.
Evie tried her hardest to give Mandy a push.
We spent time at the Boise Farmer's Market. Yes, there
are Vespas in Boise! And enjoyed home-made root beer &
cinnamon roasted almonds.
We went to lunch one day at Big Jud's- a hamburger joint that
Ruth found. Here Ruth & Evie are ready to cut the Double Big
Jud- a 2 pounder- for family to share along with the pound of
fries.
Mark & Tyler decided to try to join the "Big Jud Club"-
aren't these burgers huge??? Add a pound of tots to
the pound burger and finish it off within an hour to be
in this exclusive club!
Did they make it??? Watch to find out! They were
"full" of optimism at the beginning and just plain full
at the end!!! This should bring back lots of memories
(& groans from a couple very full guys)!
There was plenty of time to dress up in boas & skirts & dance.
Ruth needed to clean out the fridge & so spoiled us with
BBQ steaks- we were super glad to help her out!
We also went to a very fun candy store/ice cream
parlor. Look at the rows & rows of candy jars! Now,
this is my kind of treat! Just like Brigham Young
said..."THIS is the place"!!
After a drive back to Centerfield, we unpacked & the next
day went on a walk to Savannah's new school. We needed
to take a shortcut through a super muddy field- the wheels
& our shoes were caked with mud clods. Ruth could hardly
push the stroller & I could hardly lift my foot!
There's only one way to get rid of all this mud!
Mike & Alissa came to visit on Friday night & Saturday-
the cousins had a grrrrrrrrrreat time together.
Alligator, anyone???
Finally, the first day of school for Savannah! Ruth gave her
a special charm bracelet with a friend charm & a good luck
charm. Savannah also got to ride the bus home.
We visited Becky & family in Murray & the girls
met up with Mandy and all went shopping. Of course,
Savannah & Alice were thrilled with their Gap finds.
It is never too young to learn how to shop sales!
And then on to Becky's special store where Ruth got
red cowgirl boots for Evie. She did like them, honest.
And I was glad I had some extra room in my suitcase
for a few things to take home!

Fun times! Savannah's school outfits are SO cute!
Looks like a busy trip. My favorite is the picture of the stroller at the carwash.
