for Adrianne's birthday. It was a delicious salmon dinner with
birthday dessert of ice cream & Grand-dad Martin's special
chocolate-peanut butter topping. Yum! Happy Birthday
Adrianne & thanks for inviting us over!! Good job blowing
out the candles!!!
When we first got to their house, we all wore baseball caps &
Carole played a guessing game with the kids- "Who has the
most hair- Grandpa or Carole?" & then we took off our caps.
The kids had fun showing Carole their wigs so she could try
them on & of course, they wanted to show how they looked
in them. Can you guess which girl is which??? (And Elijah
at the end doesn't count- he wanted to show off the 2 hats
he was wearing.)
After the birthday treats, we watched
Miss Muscle 2009 do one-handed chin-ups!
Emma can do 12 regular chin-ups at a time &
did 4 one-handed chin-ups for us! What a girl!!!
This is a challenge to all the kids (and any brave
adults) to try doing these hard chin-ups.

one-handed chin-ups? who does one-handed chin-ups? i didn't know there was such a thing. wow! and that wig picture is pretty awesome. it sure changes how the girls look. i think the most dramatic change is emma. funny.
What a fun night. This was the first time Emma had heard of 1-handed, and she was able to do it on the first try - impressive!!
