We followed our tradition of having family over to our house for Christmas Eve so we can give them presents from us. We did have dinner together with Carole, Ruth's family, and Ernie (Don's family has a tradition of Chinese food.) Then Don's family arrived. Here are 3 cousins- Emma, Savannah, Miriam. Savannah has sure grown!

We started the night with the girls doing St. Lucia- holding lit candles and walking from the hall bathroom around the family room and into the kitchen while the music and singing played. It was fun to watch- even Olivia had a candle and walked. And Savannah held Indie with her lit candle.
Next it was time for the Nativity Story. And then presents to each of the families and to Ernie and then from the Nay girls to dad & me.

We played our fun present game. I collect things (mostly free stuff) and put them unwrapped in 2 laundry baskets. Each person gets a number and when I draw their number, they get to come up and choose a present. There is a loud count-down from 10 to keep things moving. Olivia really, really wanted the princess notebook, and she got it!!! And then of course, there is lots of food and snacks and treats. Everyone is so generous in what they bring. A very fun night.
