Chick-fil-a Day!

For our GNO this week, we took advantage of Chick-fil-a's Cow Appreciation Day. Carole was great to have saved the spots she made the year before and we dressed up as cows so we could get a free entree! The Nay girls were super creative and put black on their faces and had fun clothes on besides the spots. Evie even wore boots and had boots on her hands to be the hoofs.

Carole found out that IHop was celebrating that day also by having 58 cent short stack of pancakes!  So we decided to "hop" on over there after our main course of chicken sandwiches for our dessert of pancakes.  The girls loved picking which syrup to use...and they tried all 5 kinds- blueberry, boysenberry, strawberry,
butter pecan, and maple.  Brenley looks so cute and excited here- but Ruth called it "the calm before the storm" since Brenley chose to do the playground at Chick-fil-a over getting pancakes at IHop!  In this picture she has not yet realized how yummy those pancakes look.  Ruth was so very smart and told Brenley no pancakes but that she could take the syrups to dip her fruit from Chick-fil-a in...so all was not lost.
