For Christmas Eve, we met with Don's family in Mesa for their traditional Christmas Eve
Chinese Dinner. What a fun tradition they have. The house was all cleaned up, the special
red tablecloth was set with the Chinese dishes and chopsticks, and it was beautiful! Here are
Emma, Sydney, Miriam, and Samuel.
Elijah, Grandpa, Myra, and Don are ready to eat! Don got lots and lots of food- the most
unusual was the octopus dish! Everyone loved the Lo Mein also.
And then it was time to open some presents. We have a tradition that the kids open our presents to them
on Christmas Eve. We had fun picking out special things like a family time at miniature golf and the
Dollar Dinner for FHE.
Grandpa and Sydney watch.
Carole got to open her presents from Don's family and was completely surprised to get a fire pit! What a fun time.
