On Friday morning we took a short trip to Tucson to visit Mark and
Mandy and girls. They had been there just a couple weeks for Mark's new
job but had worked hard in unpacking boxes and hanging pictures and getting
settled. They have a great apartment on the bottom floor (important feature)
that even has a fireplace! Mandy make "cow spots" and a cow mask for us to
wear when we went to Chick-fil-a for lunch so we could each get a free
meal.
Caroline loved the chocolate milk and Hannah loved the fries.
We had a fun time even though it was a short visit. I brought the Clifford
video which was fun because Caroline has a Clifford dog.
We picked up a dresser for them from IKEA and dad and Mark spent time putting
that together. When that was done, they put together a bookcase Mandy had
gotten. She had already put one bookcase together the day before. I got to
play with Caroline- she was the "mom" and I was the uncooperative "baby". We were
spoiled with a "Welcome" treat (Melba and nuts), had a delicious dinner (special
potatoes with parmesan breaded pork chops), watching a movie and snacking on an
incredible trail mix after the work was done, sleeping in their super-comfortable bed while Mark and Mandy slept in the living room, and then we came home on Saturday morning. Thanks, guys, for a really nice visit and taking such good care of us.

So fun that you got Chick-fil-A "cow appreciation" food. Cute masks and spots.
