Fabulous Fourth!!!

We enjoyed a "Fabulous Fourth" at the Nays this year. Who could have guessed that just a year ago??? We started out with the traditional swimming.

Ruth made a super yummy non-traditional dinner.  She did a bbq of chicken, veggies,and PIZZA! All on their new grill. I had never tasted pizza done on the grill before...
but it is one of my all-time favorites! We ate way past the time we were stuffed.
Since we are such a non-competitive family (haha), dinner was followed by a "cranking contest" on the ice cream machine. You could hear the grunts and the pain.
















While the ice cream cured, we enjoyed Carole's fireworks in the front yard.
She keeps her tradition alive and kicking!  After the fireworks, we were ready
to cool down with that delish berry ice cream...super smooth and creamy!
