We had a fun birthday celebration for Dad's big 70th birthday when Don's family and Carole came over. We had a BBQ dinner outside- but we had chicken this time along with some potato salad, fruit salad, tossed green salad, and french bread. We went inside to open a few
fun presents. Here's the first one- don't these guys have great teeth???
Dad also got (check out his head) a special brush for partially bald men- bristles only on the sides. Also a "new" computer game, a magnetic bowl for screws, some "change" so he can go to the movies, a couple dvd's, nice signs from Emma and Sydney, and 2, yes that's right 2, tins of special Spam bandaids.
And then it was time for dessert- ice cream. We sang the traditional
"Happy Birthday" song along with the song we have learned from Adrianne
that her family sings. There really aren't 70 candles here- could you
just imagine the bon fire if we had used that many????
