A Little MORE Fun On Monday!

Dad and I decided to hang out with Ruth and family and Rachel and
family until they needed to go to the airport. We went across the
street from the villa to the tide pool at Crystal Cove.  The view
of the ocean was gorgeous!

Savannah, Tyler, Brenley, Evie, Ruth, and Dad
pose on the walk down to the tide pools.

Amelia and Ben look for sea creatures.

What did they find??? The little sand crab runs away
from those toes!

Ben takes Lily for a walk on the beach.

Do you think Amelia will slip into the water??? Answer:  YEP!

Dad gets to cuddle Lily.

After the tide pools (and that steep climb up), we ate lunch at
Wahoo's- a great place Rachel found.

Were those fish tacos as good as they claimed? Rachel says- Definitely!

In fact, everyone agreed with Rachel- that was great food!

Since it was time for the Nays to get to the airport, the rest of us
went to Huntington Beach and went on the boardwalk. Rachel
loves the ocean breeze!

Ben and Amelia found ice cream at the end of the pier from Ruby's.

After the beach we found a park so the girls could run a little
before that long, long plane ride. We were amazed at Lily-
she climbed to the top of the slide and came down by herself!!!

It looked like so much fun sliding that Amelia and Ben raced down
a double slide. Who won??? Ben, by a foot...and a leg!

Once again, it's time for the fun to end and time to board the plane.
I still am amazed that this group only had carry-on's! And we hope
it will be sooner, not later, before we get together again!

Carry-ons only??? WOW! Great narrative - my favorite is the race down the slide!
