honor band in Mesa, made of kids from bands
in the many Mesa Elementary schools. Emma
plays the Frenchhorn & auditioned to be in
this concert. She had to play in front of people
to try out & was even given a piece to sight read.
She must have been good because she made
4th chair!!! And after the performance, the band
conductor (a band leader from a middle school),
knew Emma by name & said she couldn't wait to
have Emma the next year in band! It was sure
an honor to Emma and a fun night for us.
