was having trouble walking and was sore. She died
this morning. Ruth got her as a Christmas present
18 years ago (1993) & she has been a part of this home.
Ruth said this was "the best Christmas present ever."
She even took kitty in her pocket on our trip to Utah.
Cinder felt like she was her baby & they would
curl up together.
In fact, she would curl up around Ruth's neck.
She was only called Mama Kitty- no other name.
I think Cinder felt like a proud parent.
We put Mama Kitty next to Cinder & Lady Jane
in the back yard- Cinder will be surrounded
by cats in the Resurrection. Just kind of makes you smile.

Mama Kitty sure had a long life - I read that 18 cat years is the equivalent to 89 human years.
I am so glad you have a little area in the backyard for such special pets.
great pictures-what a blast from the past. savannah was sure sad when i told her about the kitty. she even conjured up a few tears in her honor. but i'll tell you someone who is happy--cinder has a buddy again!
