At 9 pm Thursday night, Dad & I played Noah & wife
when we started bailing water from the wash room!
Yep, that's right, the old washer died & emptied the
whole tub of water on the floor of the wash room, the
food storage room, & the kitchen!!! Yuck! Soapy water
with bleach!! Not exactly what we had planned for
the end of our night. Thanks to dad for finishing the
clean up job. Friday morning, I asked our neighbor to
use her washer to rewash the clothes & she was nice
in letting me get that task done. Then Dad & I spent
a good part of the day checking out repair costs &
shopping. Because the washer is sooooo old getting up
close to 20 years), it seemed prudent to just get a new
one. End result...we found a brand new washer at
Costco with a $50 discount which was the same price
as the repaired one at the Sears Outlet (exact same
model number & style) and THEN found it for another
$50 off at the second Costco where we went to pick it
up because it was the demo!!!!
YES- another super shopping buy!!!

fun! glad you found a great deal. and that you got a new washer so quickly! makes me want to come down and wash clothes in a pretty new washer.
