Of course, the doll room was a hit.
Grandpa gave "root beer" to Savannah to go with
the Chinese cashew chicken. This is what Savannah
thought of this root beer & Ruth is smiling because she
is remembering getting "root beer" also.
The girls enjoyed cakes they decorated with special
candles that Carole had brought. Evie just can't blow
hers out!
Saturday was a family swim party with the traditional
hamburgers & spiral cut hot dogs for a BBQ dinner. I
took 2 pictures of the group in the pool- in the other
picture, only one person had eyes opened!
Sydney & Elijah had fun on the slide.
Don worked with Samuel in swimming from
him...
to Grandpa.
And there was also the traditional coin toss into the
pool. Grandpa explains the rules.
Everyone gets coins- the kids loved the gold dollars.
