Easter Memories

The Utah Crocketts came for a visit & to enjoy the sun.
Can you guess what the kids wanted to do the very first
thing when they woke up??? No time to even change
from their pj's.

How long do you think they stayed fairly dry? Remember
these are still pj's!

There was time to work on the new porch for the fort
and have fun using the bucket.

The twins are so cute.

Carole was in charge of the backyard wienie roast
(with spam as a treat)

and Michael loved the extra-huge marshmellows for
s'mores that Carole brought.

We enjoyed going to Sydney's baptism on Saturday.

Here she is after the baptism in her beautiful new
dress. Doesn't Sydney look shiny & clean?

Later in the afternoon we dyed Easter eggs
at Don's house. Dad brought white crayons &
lots of rubber bands to help in the decorating.

While some people dyed eggs, Mike decided to dye a
foot. Is that Nelson or Braden???

And then there was the traditional Easter egg hunt.
Emma needed Dad's help to get this egg- I think
someone tallllll must have hidden it! Don? Mike?

Each kid got to find one plastic egg that Mike
had put a special prize in- here Samuel shows
his very own dollar from his egg!!!

Adelyn practiced until she was able to climb to the
top of our tetherball pole. What a feat!

Grandpa spoiled the kids with ice cream from
McDonald's. Yum.

And then it was time to say goodby until
another visit.

The kids loved hiding the Easter eggs - and the younger ones had their favorite spot. This meant that there were 4-6 eggs all placed in that spot - a jackpot for anyone who looked there.

I'd be right there at the pool with Adelyn, Michael, and Joey! Looks like a fun-packed trip.
