activities. We started with swimming and once again,
Sydney was the first one in the pool. She is the reigning
champ! Kids enjoyed the diving board & the slide.
Dad had fun with his traditional game of throwing money
into the pool for the kids to dive for. This year he even had
the new golden-colored dollar coins! This is a picture of
Sydney trying to get to the bottom for the coins.
All this fun was followed up with a delicious BBQ cooked
by master chef Grandpa and assisted by chef Elijah. We
had hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, veggies with Carole's
wonderful dill dip, fruit with yogurt dip- all very yummy!
Watching a movie together was highlighted for the kids
with "All You Can Eat" ice cream cones- even Sydney had
a couple and you can really tell that Elijah loved it!!!

i was just thinking about those great bbqs yesterday. i tried my hand at charcoal grilling and we had our own bbq of sorts. but we definitely didn't have the pool fun. and no money either.
