Carole got to open a couple presents before dinner. When the first
one turned out to be 2 cans of cat food, she wondered "What kind
of trick is this?" Then we showed her the big wrapped box. Since
Carole really does not want any pets (or pet hair) around, she
hesitated going over to that box. S-L-O-W-L-Y she opened it...
only to have her fears go away as Savannah jumped out of the box
& yelled "Surprise!" The Nays had come especially for Carole's
birthday. Savannah had practiced over & over being in
the box & being quiet. She only made a couple faint taps on the
box while waiting patiently for Carole to open it. Of course, this
all looked like so much fun that ALL the other kids had to take a
turn jumping out of the box & surprising each other!
