& kids plus Carole made a full house. The kids
enjoyed the doll room & Elijah loved the
spinning chair (Emma was nice enough to
spin him).

Everyone helped with the dinner-
we did the turkey
& dad did the traditional carving. Carole
brought her wonderful mashed potatoes & also
corn; Adrianne brought rolls & stuffed celery
while Don made his famous pumpkin pies. YUM!

Elijah loved having his OWN knife
& had fun "cutting" the olives.

Don remembered the time that Mike
got the "drumbone" at Grandma's
house so we decided to spoil him
this year with his own "drumbone".

One of the favorites is always olives
on your fingers. The kids enjoyed
eating at their own red table with
special dishes & silverware.
Carole brought her Wii for people
to play after dinner. They were
hooked up to Ben & Anna in Utah.

Finally the meal had settled & there
was room for pumpkin pie & whip cream.
Don also did one new thing this year and
made sweet butter (great for pancakes)!

Emma & Miriam had fun helping
do the clean-up. Does anyone
remember making dish soap
beards??? Only one of the many
things to do when dishes are waiting.

The dinner was great, and there were plenty of leftovers - I have been snacking on them all weekend!!
I agree, that was a fun Thanksgiving. Thanks for having us over.
