Gobble, Gobble, Gobble!!!

Our funnnnnn Thanksgiving vacation started
the Saturday before when family arrived & then
stayed up late visiting. Amazingly on Sunday
we were all on time for 9 am Church!!! That night
all the families (Carole, Don & Adrianne & kids,
Mike & Alissa & kids, Ruth & Tyler & Savannah,
Rachel & Ben, Mom & Dad) played games after
a traditional taco salad dinner. Here are the cousins:

Monday was the train ride at McCormick Railroad
Park and playing at the kids' playground after.
Then home to hamburgers & hotdogs. Here's
part of our group:

Here are Adelyn & Savannah in their
princess shoes about to go to a "tea party" with
grandma & have orange pop & frosted cookies.
Sandy Bear had to come also.

Michael and the "terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day" was on Wednesday when he pinched his finger in a chair in the playhouse and needed to get 10 stitches at the hospital. Michael John truly takes after his dad-
Mike Sr. pinched his
same finger in a lawn chair at about the same
age & had to get stitches also!
But all that "excitement" didn't stop Michael from
eating pizza at Organ Stop Pizza that night!
Here's the bunch of us.

So what are Ruth
and Savannah
smiling at???

Why, the dancing cats, of course. This is a
favorite part of Organ Stop! Is that Cougs
up there???

Part of the family went rifle shooting on
Thanksgiving day. Here's "Dead Eye Don"
who won the grand prize that Tyler furnished:

And then it was time to get dinner ready. We
enjoyed mom's turkey & gravy, Carole's famous
Mashed Potatoes, Ruth's Sweet Potato Pie,
Rachel & Ben's Stuffed Celery, and Don's
yummy pumpkin pies with real whip cream!!
YUM! YUM! YUM! Not many left-overs!

Next came the "Turkey Bowl"- bowling with
a REAL turkey!

Carole's Wii game attracted everyone- young
& old alike! It was fun to have Morgan, Katie,
& boys visit. Katie & Adrianne box.

Mike & Don take the challenge next! It was
a fun day and a great time together, but all
good things must end.

I like the narrative - a story with pictures!
