Really Awesome Vehicle

What a couple of months. Our nice Honda
Accord was stolen the beginning of March &
this caused a lot of stress & a few busy weeks
checking dealers, paper, & internet for a new
car. After almost getting a white RAV4 two
different times, we did get a pretty, pretty
Really Awesome Vehicle!!! In fact, it really
is a RAV4 since it was the fourth car we were
seriously interested in!!! We have heard lots
of anxious salesmen & their car pitch & have
driven a few RAV's & CRV's. Here is the
beautiful "new-to-us" RAV4 that we are now
the proud owners of:

Yep, it's green! And a dark green at that! I joke
that since this is dad's favorite color, I will
probably find he has taken my car to work &
left me with his blue Explorer! Dad felt that
white was too boring and that I should get a car
that would reflect my personality---a friend
called it "SASSY" (the car, that is). It is a 2002
with 46,000 miles. I spent the day on Friday
looking at cars, and this was not advertized but
one that I just happened to see at a dealer's. In
fact, the salesman had been looking for this
kind of car for over a month- they are pretty
hard to get. The woman he was finding the car
for had not come yet to see this one- now it's
GONE!!! To OUR driveway!!

The tires are brand new, and the windows were
just tinted. It even has the tonneau cover in
the back! The inside is super clean & nice-looking.
It has a special protective coating on outside &
on the inside. After a rainy night, there were NO
spots on the car! Also, it is certified & under
warranty!!! We will be taking it on our trip to
Utah for graduations this next week and give it
a true road test.

It has a luggage rack & hard cover on the spare
tire. I spent ALLLLLL Friday afternoon
(literally from 1 pm until 7:30 pm) doing test
drives, signing lots of papers, pointing out a
couple more things to get adjusted, and "haggling"
over the price. It ended up costing the same as
the first white car that we had planned on getting,
but this one is really much nicer & has 20,000
fewer miles.

Here is the final proof of how nice it looks- John
Morrison came over and looked over the car and
said that it looked brand new. THEN I told him
that it was a 2002!!! Thanks to Tyler for the
title- this really is a Really Awesome Vehicle!!!
